Chloé Miller, MA, MFTC, LPCC

Hi! I’m a Holistic and Complex Trauma-Informed Relationship Therapist and the Founder of lovers COUNSELING. I specialize in attachment-based trauma-informed counseling and healing relationship issues.

My mains services are Relationship Counseling, Marriage Counseling, Premarital Counseling, Sex Therapy, Divorce Counseling, and of course Couples Counseling in Boulder, CO.

I offer Couples Counseling for help with communication, emotional and physical intimacy, conflict resolution, and emotional regulation and Individual Counseling for a deeper understanding of relationship patterns. I support clients through life transitions: dating, premarital, couples/marriage counseling, family planning, and divorce. Romantic relationships start with yourself. My clients cultivate self-trust, self-love, and self-compassion. Love is everything it's cracked up to be and authentic connection is the most beautiful human experience.

Counseling is the culmination of my professional experience. I'm a complex trauma-informed relationship therapist with 10+ years of experience. I hold a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, a Post-Graduate Degree in Marriage & Family Therapy, and certifications in healing relational trauma. I blend individual counseling, systemic counseling, and complex trauma-informed counseling for holistic healing.

Previously, I was nominated for Forbes Under 30 for founding a dating & relationship coaching agency for individuals and couples. Before that, I spent years running an advertising agency and matchmaking creative partnerships. Relationships are my passion. I believe everyone deserves to enjoy love in their life and I would be honored to explore relationships with you.

My love for relationships started back when I founded AND, SWIPE RIGHT INC., a dating & relationship coaching business for singles and couples. This passion led me to host and produce a podcast and host events during the pandemic. This led me to pursue my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Naropa University. While I enjoy coaching, I decided to expand my knowledge and support clients on their healing journey.

My theoretical framework is rooted in Transpersonal healing including holistic healing of the human experience: mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual. Furthermore, I weave a trauma-informed systemic-based relational approach in all of my sessions. Nurturing my clients’ relationship with themself, I model and teach my clients how to listen to their inner wisdom and their heart’s desires. This approach fosters a deep awareness of yourself and how you show up in a relationship. Relationships with others are reflections of our relationship with ourselves, building a loving relationship with yourself is the first step to increasing love in your life.

Chloe Miller, lovers COUNSELING Founder

We are incredibly wise and I believe we already have the answers to our questions. My job as your therapist is to elicit that wisdom and empower you with the tools to cultivate your wisdom. My ideal clients are individuals who are open to learning, are collaborative and committed to healing their relational wounds so they can open themselves to finding/experiencing love and healthy relationships. I enjoy nurturing clients to emotional health and supporting them in embracing healthy loving relationships.

My clients have described me as empathetic, intuitive, compassionate, supportive, light-hearted, and deeply versed in healthy relationship boundaries. I would describe myself as an effective communicator, a balance between sensitive and strong, and an advocate for those healing and recovering from abusive/toxic relationships.

I use a multi-disciplinary therapeutic approach. People are dynamic and healing requires a large tool kit of interventions and exercises to find what works for you. I also have certifications in Reiki Healing Energy and Play Therapy - Improv Comedy. I believe comedy, humor, and a little bit of playfulness are incredibly healing and humor is magical and pure. As a professionally trained Second City Improv Comedian, I believe laughter can be the brightest light during the darkest of times and the some of the most rewarding elements of healing.

At lovers COUNSELING, we believe love is a fundamental human right.

With many different interpretations of love, my passion for helping clients understand their definition of love and be aware of how that impacts their relationship has led me to holistically support clients in the dating and relationship space. I do this by fostering a safe space to heal relationship wounds and explore your deepest relationship desires while supporting individuals and couples in strengthening their vulnerability and safety. This sacred work builds confidence that empowers you to create healthy relationship boundaries and be more aware of your needs and desires.

Are you ready to find happiness and make life-long lasting change?

Healing is holistic and we approach relationships intentionally and with the goal of co-creation. We partner with our clients to co-create the relationship of their dreams. Chloé meets her clients at all stages of the relationship - from the preventative stage, all the way to reparative emotional support, lovers work with Chloé to take their relationship to new destinations based on a conscious co-created future rooted in shared values. My Double-Board Certified Counseling Fields of Study

  • Transpersonal Psychology is an advanced level of psychology that integrates the Mental, Physical, Spirit and Emotional connection and conceptualizes treatment through a holistic lens. In other words, this counseling approach considers the human experience when supporting therapeutic growth and healing. I received my Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an emphasis in Mindfulness-based Transpersonal Counseling from Naropa University.

  • My professional experience with relationships extends over a decade. My fascination with understanding interpersonal dynamics has been a pillar throughout my life and has been the driving factor for my career. Whether I’m presenting in a conference room full of professionals or working privately with clients, working with relationships comes naturally. My work is intuitively guided and my clients benefit the most.

  • Internal Family Systems is a systemic modality that is used to support individual counseling. Taking into account how the body works systemically, healing follows the same systemic process. This modality is also used in couples counseling, known as, Intimacy From the Inside Out.

  • Emotion-focused therapy (EFT) approaches healing from the belief that emotions are strongly linked to identity. Emotions guide us in defining preferences and making decisions on a daily basis. EFT assumes that a lack of emotional awareness is harmful. In other words, avoiding emotions can lead to negative outcomes.

  • I’m a NARM Complex Trauma-Trained Therapist working with early developmental, relational, and complex trauma. Healing complex wounds paves the way for deeper more meaningful relationships. Learn how to heal so you can begin to trust again. Discover the freedom of letting go and start enjoying deep, authentic relationships with the people you care about the most. I believe connection is one of the greatest joys in life.

  • As a Certified Improv Comedian from The Second City (Chicago), I weave elements of comedy and humor into all of my sessions and deepen my relationship with my clients by using humor to help the healing process.

  • Healing can happen in many places and take shape in many different forms. I’m a certified Mindfulness Instructor, a certified Reiki Master, and an advanced Energy Healer. When therapeutically aligned with my client, I curate and apply transpersonal practices to foster healing from the inside out. Additionally, I welcome play and laughter and incorporate elements of improv comedy to inspire playfulness in our work.
